Ocular Charging IQ Mini 7kW EV Charger: Compact Single Phase Charging for Homes and Apartments
The Ocular IQ Mini 7kW is a straightforward single phase EV charger in a compact, IP55 rated housing. It connects over Wi-Fi, Ethernet or 4G, starts from the app, a button, an RFID card or plug and charge, and speaks OCPP, so it's as at home in a shared apartment car park as it is in your garage.

Is the Ocular IQ Mini Single Phase Right for You?
The IQ Mini is not solar compatible and doesn't come with CT clamps. If you want to charge from your rooftop solar, or want the charger to automatically balance itself against your home's power use, the Ocular IQ Home Solar 7kW is the better fit. Load management on the IQ Mini is available through the Ocular Load Controller or OCPP smart charging profiles.
Cable or Socket: Which Variant
5m Type 2 cable
Cable permanently attached. Park, plug in, walk away. Best for a dedicated garage or carport bay.
Type 2 socket
No fixed cable. You supply your own Type 2 to Type 2 charging lead in the length that suits. Tidier on the wall and a good pick for shared parking.

Installation
This charger needs a single phase supply and must be installed by a licensed electrician to AS/NZS 3000. Ocular recommends a dedicated circuit with a 40A Type A RCBO and an isolation switch near the charger. If your electrician sets a lower current limit, they'll let you know.
Warranty
2 year manufacturer's warranty. Optional extended warranty adds up to 3 more years, for up to 5 years in total. Warranty depends on installation following Ocular's instructions.
