Every unit here runs off a standard household power point. That means you can use them inside a closed garage, at night, without fumes and without waking the street. For washing cars, bikes, boats and anything with paint on it, that combination beats a petrol machine every time.
What electric is good at
Vehicle washing is the obvious one, and it is what most of this range is built for. Beyond that: outdoor furniture, windows, bins, bikes, mowers, and general around-the-house cleaning. What electric is not built for is stripping years of grime off a large concrete area, which is a job for petrol.
The formats in this range
Wall mounted with a retractable reel
The Blahst R30, Blahst R18 and Giraffe Grandfalls PRO mount to the wall and pull their hose back in on their own. If the reason you do not use your current washer is the pack-up, this format fixes it. Retractable pressure washers.
Compact wall mounted
The Bigboi WashR Quad mounts to the wall without the full auto-retract mechanism. Smaller footprint, lower spend, still off the floor. WashR Quad.
Kits and portable
The WASHR PRO MKII Kit is the full detailing package, and the WashR Tradie is aimed at people who need to take it with them.
What to check before buying
Flow rate over pressure
For vehicles, litres per minute matters more than PSI. High pressure on paint, badges and rubber trim causes damage. Flow is what rinses.
Hose length
If you are wall mounting, measure from the mounting point to the furthest thing you want to wash, then add slack. Coming up short is the most common regret.
Your power circuit
These run on a normal 10 amp outlet, but if the garage circuit is already carrying a fridge, a compressor and lighting, be aware of what else is drawing at the same time.
Pairing it with the rest of the wash
Most people who buy an electric washer end up wanting the rest of the wall: a wall mounted vacuum for the interior and an air dryer so you are not chasing water marks with a towel. Our detailing chemicals cover the rest.
