About Organised Workshop
Organised Workshop was built on the tools, lessons, and hard-earned experience that only come from time spent on the workshop floor.
Founder Brenton Thoma began his career completing a mechanical apprenticeship at Brighton Nissan in Victoria, learning the trade the old-fashioned way, hands on, under pressure and with high standards. From there, he worked his way through the ranks as a technician before stepping into leadership roles as a foreman and workshop manager, running busy workshops, leading teams and keeping dealership service departments operating efficiently day in, day out.
Along the way, Brenton became heavily involved in setting up mechanical workshops and dealership service departments, from planning layouts and choosing equipment to improving workflow, safety and productivity. He has also managed car detailing businesses, gaining firsthand insight into what detailing workshops really need, reliable pressure washers, vacuums, air systems, lighting, flooring, and equipment that can handle daily commercial use without cutting corners.
After years in the industry, one thing became clear: too many people were being sold workshop gear by big-box stores offering generic advice from staff who’ve never turned a spanner, let alone know the difference between a Datsun and a LandCruiser.
That’s where Organised Workshop comes in.

We exist to give car enthusiasts, tradespeople, and serious DIYers a place to get straight answers from people who’ve actually worked in the industry. No sales scripts, no guesswork, just honest advice, professional-grade equipment, and solutions proven in real mechanical and detailing workshops.
