TALK TO A GARAGE EXPERT

Not sure where to start with your garage setup? We’ve helped countless customers design smarter, more efficient garages and we can do the same for you. Contact us today and let’s map it out.

Entry-level Price. Workshop-grade Build. Ranger R745 Tyre Changing Machine

The Ranger R745 is a swing-arm tyre changer built for straightforward, high-volume wheel service. If your work is mostly passenger cars, daily drivers, spares and trailer tyres, the R745 covers it without paying for features you'll never use. The swing-arm design loads tyres fast, the steel clamps grip securely, and the rigid tower keeps the tool head dead still so expensive wheels stay damage-free.

It's the right fit for service stations, mobile tyre operations, small workshops and home garages, or as a reliable backup machine alongside a more specialised tyre changer.

Why The R745 Punches Above its Price

- Swing-arm tower design makes loading and unloading tyres fast, ideal for rapid, repetitive wheel service
- Rigid 45 mm hexagonal vertical shaft with a hardened steel outrigger support arm eliminates flex during mounting and demounting, protecting alloy and painted rims from a shifting tool head
- High-torque electric turntable with reverse-direction control gives low-profile and run-flat beads time to relax, reducing the risk of tyre damage
- Enhanced bead breaker blade with a rubber bump stop for smooth arm return, less shock loading and longer pneumatic cylinder life
- Hardened alloy steel mount and demount head with a micro-smooth surface glides tyre beads into place without repositioning the tool head

The Ranger R745 is an entry-level tyre changer in price only. It's built with the same forged steel pedals, sealed electrics and maintenance-free gearbox as Ranger's higher-spec machines. Nothing fancy, and for a lot of workshops, that's exactly the point.

Ready To Add The R745 To Your Workshop?

Everything included, nothing extra to buy

The R745 arrives ready to work. In the box: pistol-type inflation gauge with integrated air dump valve, inflation restraint device, travelling drop-centre hold-down device, water filter, oiler/lubricator, air regulator, breaker bar, tyre iron/bead lever tool, large soap/lubricator bucket, brush, turntable jaw covers, bead breaker blade boots, and mount/demount head covers. Everything stores on the machine itself, so nothing goes walkabout around the shop.

Built To Last: The Engineering Behind The R745

45 mm spring-assist vertical tool shaft
The rigid hexagonal shaft and hardened steel horizontal outrigger arm keep the mount-demount head perfectly still during operation. Linear guide bearings make vertical and horizontal wheel adjustments easy, and they're maintenance-free for the life of the machine.

Forged steel foot pedals
Forged steel, not cast iron, so they're lighter, tougher and won't rust or react with shop chemicals. As the most exposed part of any tyre changer, they're built to cop everyday abuse without complaint.

Sealed electrics
Every main-lead electrical terminal, auxiliary switch and motor enclosure is air-tight and dust-free, so there's little to no component maintenance to worry about.

High-pressure pneumatic tubing
Polyurethane tubing with a smooth, seamless bore improves airflow, with high abrasion resistance, high burst tolerance and total kink resistance.

Engineered drive belt
Convex sidewalls disperse wear evenly across the belt, while flex-bonded cords and flex-weave covers keep out water, oil and contaminants.

Maintenance-free gearbox
An oil and grease tank releases heat and lubricates components, with internal baffles and a constant-seating stress flange gasket delivering low operating temperatures and zero fluid leakage. You'll never need to service it.

Aluminium pneumatic cylinders
Stainless steel and aluminium construction keeps vibration and friction low. Internal end-of-stroke cushions protect the seals, wear band and piston rod, and each cylinder is continuously lubricated during use.

Pistol-type tyre inflator
A sure-grip clip-on valve chuck permits full-function, hands-free inflation.
