ELGi EN4 Screw Compressor - EN4CTD Full Feature Package
Compressor, 200 L tank, dryer and filtration in one ready-to-run package.
The ELGi EN4 screw compressor in EN4CTD configuration is a complete workshop air system, not just a compressor. The 200 litre receiver tank, refrigerated dryer, line filters and auto condensate drain are all built into one integrated unit, so you get clean, dry air from day one without piecing together components, running extra pipework or paying an installer to make it all talk to each other.
Delivering 18 cfm FAD at 8 bar from a 3.7 kW motor, it's the right size for automotive workshops, tyre bays and service environments with steady air demand that doesn't justify a bigger machine. The compressor runs on 400 V three-phase power, with the dryer and auto condensate drain each plugging into a standard 10 A outlet.
Why the EN4CTD earns its spot on the shop floor
- 18 cfm FAD at 8 bar of genuine screw compressor output, comfortably running impact tools, tyre equipment and general workshop air in a small to mid-size shop
- Everything integrated: 200 L receiver tank, refrigerated dryer, line filters and auto condensate drain in one footprint. No extra plumbing, no mismatched components, no moisture surprises
- Clean, dry air protects your gear: the dryer and filtration stop moisture and oil reaching your air tools, spray finishes and tyre equipment, extending tool life and keeping paint work clean
- Quiet enough to live in the workshop: at 64 dB(A), ELGi's encapsulated EN platform is closer to normal conversation than to a piston compressor's hammering, so it can sit near the work area instead of being banished to a back room
- Screw compressor duty cycle: unlike piston units, a rotary screw is built for continuous operation, making it the right choice for shops where the air is on all day
- Modest power draw: the IE3 high-efficiency 3.7 kW motor pulls a maximum of just 8.6 A on the three-phase supply, keeping running costs down
Power and installation requirements: the compressor requires a 400 V three-phase supply (8.6 A maximum draw). The refrigerated dryer and auto condensate drain each run off a standard 10 A GPO, so allow two power points at the install location alongside the three-phase connection. ELGi recommends 1 m clearance on all sides with 2 m above for airflow and service access.
Doing truck tyres? Standard CTD packages are 8 bar. 10 bar versions are available for truck tyre work, assembled in our workshop for a small additional cost. Give us a call to spec one up.

Built to last: the engineering behind the EN4
Encapsulated airend design ELGi's EN platform integrates the air intake, compression and oil separation systems into one sealed, robust housing. Fewer connections means fewer leak points, quieter running and a smaller footprint than a comparable piston setup.
Efficient air-oil separation The EN4 delivers less than 3 ppm oil carryover in the delivered air, keeping downstream tools and finishes clean before the line filters even get involved.
IE3 high-efficiency motor The 3.7 kW three-phase squirrel cage induction motor runs at 88.1 percent efficiency with Class F insulation and IP55 protection, built to handle Australian workshop conditions day in, day out.
Refrigerated dryer and staged filtration The refrigerated dryer pulls moisture out of the compressed air before it reaches your lines, with line filters catching particulates and residual oil. The auto condensate drain empties collected moisture from the receiver without anyone having to remember to do it.
Load/unload capacity control The EN4 matches output to demand automatically, unloading when the 200 L receiver is up to pressure rather than stop-starting, which cuts energy use and wear during quieter periods of the day.
EN4CTD or EN5CTD?
Both packages share the same cabinet, tank, dryer and filtration. The difference is output: the EN4CTD delivers 18 cfm from a 3.7 kW motor, while the EN5CTD steps up to 26 cfm from 5.5 kW. If your shop runs one or two techs on air tools with a tyre changer in the mix, the EN4CTD covers it. If you're running spray guns, blasting or multiple bays drawing air at once, step up to the EN5CTD.
