SP TOOL STORAGE - 12 MONTH WARRANTY

SP Tool Boxes are covered against manufacturing defects or faulty materials. This warranty does not cover overloading, abuse, misuse and/or normal wear and tear. Tool Chests are designed for use in a workshop situation. The warranty does not cover the use of chests in a mobile situation with the exemption of our mobile solutions storage. This warranty is in addition to what is covered in the Trade Practices Act (Aust), all state and territory laws and regulations and the Fair Trading Act (NZ). All warranty claims must be returned to an authorised Austech dealer, freight pre-paid and packed to avoid transportation damage. If the claim is rejected, the product will be returned to the customer at their expense.

 

SP HAND TOOLS - LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

SP Hand Tools are covered against manufacturing defects or faulty materials. This warranty does not cover overloading, abuse, misuse and/ or normal wear and tear. All SP Hand Tools are designed and manufactured for specific purposes and if not used for that intended purpose they will not be covered by the lifetime warranty. This lifetime warranty is in addition to what is covered in the Trade Practices Act (Aust), all state and territory laws and regulations and the Fair Trading Act (NZ). Tools that fail due to manufacturing defects or faults may be returned to a SP Hand Tool authorised dealer for repair or replacement at the sole discretion of Austech Industries Pty Ltd. Exemptions - All measuring equipment (12 month warranty), battery operated wrenches (24 month warranty), striking and cutting tools (6 month warranty), batteries & chargers (12 month warranty).

 

SP IMPACT SOCKETS - 6 MONTH WARRANTY

SP Impact Sockets are covered against manufacturing defects or faulty materials. This warranty does not cover overloading, abuse, misuse and/ or normal wear and tear. All SP Impact Sockets are designed and manufactured for specific purposes and if not used for that intended purpose they will not be covered by the 6 month warranty. This 6 month warranty is in addition to what is covered in the Trade Practices Act (Aust), all state and territory laws and regulations and the Fair Trading Act (NZ). SP Striking & Cutting Tools are covered against manufacturing defects or faulty materials. This warranty does not cover overloading, abuse, misuse and/ or normal wear and tear. All SP striking and cutting tools are designed and manufactured for specific purposes and if not used for that intended purpose they will not be covered by the 6 month warranty. This 6 month warranty is in addition to what is covered in the Trade Practices Act (Aust), all state and territory laws and regulations and the Fair Trading Act (NZ). All SP Automotive Speciality Tools are designed and manufactured for specific purposes and if not used for that intended purpose they will not be covered by the 12 month warranty. This 12 month warranty is in addition to what is covered in the Trade Practices Act (Aust), all state and territory laws and regulations and the Fair Trading Act (NZ). Tools that fail due to manufacturing defects or faults may be returned to a SP Automotive Speciality Tool authorised dealer for repair or replacement at the sole discretion of Austech Industries Pty Ltd.

 

SP AIR TOOLS & COMPRESSORS

SP Air Tools are warranted for 12 months, from date of sale to the end user. This warranty covers faulty workmanship and materials only. Such accessories as pads, blades, retainer springs, chisels, chucks or any other such attachments are not included. Products which are being claimed for warranty are to be returned to Austech or an appointed warranty agent freight prepaid with your name address, adequate proof of date of purchase and short description of the defect. This warranty does not apply to products which have been abused, misused, modified or repaired by anyone other than an Austech appointed repair agent. Austech’s sole liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective product. The decision to repair or replace remains solely at the discretion of Austech Industries only and the repairs or replacements are warranted as described above for the remainder of the original warranty period.

SP Air Compressors - Direct Drive: 8 Bar - 12 Months, Belt Drive: 8 Bar - 12 Months, Belt Drive: 10 Bar Pump Only - 36 Months

 

SP POWERED EQUIPMENT - TORINI ENGINE

SP powered equipment fitted with Torini Engines are warranted for 12 months against manufacturing defects or faulty materials. The Torini engine itself has an extended warranty period of 36 months, on major engine components, crankcase, cylinder, piston, crankshaft, conrod etc. Ungoverned Race Engines are not covered by this warranty.
Any warranty repairs are limited to the warranty fault identified and as such will not include any other faults due to misuse, abuse, failure to maintain, fair wear and tear or the replacement of serviceable items such as oil, spark plugs, air filters, fuel etc...

 

SP PRESSURE WASHERS

SP Pressure Washers Electric: The electric motor and pump assembly are warranted for 24 months against manufacturing defects or faulty materials. All accessories, hoses, lances, triggers, nozzles, wheels etc. are warranted for 12 months against manufacturing defects or faulty materials.


SP Pressure Washers Petrol: The Torini engine itself has an extended warranty period of 36 months, on major engine components, crankcase, cylinder, piston, crankshaft, conrod etc. The pump assembly is warranted for 24 months and all accessories, hoses, lances, triggers, nozzles, wheels etc. are warranted for 12 months against manufacturing defects or faulty materials.

 

Note: Warranty cover only applies if valid proof of purchase is presented when warranty is requested. The warranty period starts from the original date of purchase. Units which fail to perform in accordance with specifications due to non-warrantable causes will be subject to freight, repair and or quote charges.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
