We stock the Heavy Duty panels — the strongest StoreWALL panels available in Australia. They’re taller than Standard Duty panels at 381mm versus 304mm, thicker at 17.7mm versus 16.7mm, and rated for significantly higher loads. For a garage or workshop environment where you’re hanging tools, equipment, hoses, and gear, Heavy Duty is the right choice.

With Heavy Duty InstallStrips properly installed into wall studs, each 1219mm panel supports up to 68kg at 10cm from the wall surface, and 90kg or more when loaded directly against the panel. That said, each individual accessory also has its own rating — so match your hooks and brackets to what you’re hanging. If you’re unsure, call us and we’ll help you spec it out.

You can screw directly through the panels into studs, but we strongly recommend InstallStrips. They’re what gives the system its load rating — the strength comes from the galvanised metal strips being secured to your wall with up to 16 screws each, not from the panels themselves. They also hide all the fasteners so the finished wall looks clean, and they let you remove or reposition panels later without damage to your wall.

StoreWALL works on timber stud walls, metal stud walls, brick, blockwork, and concrete. For brick and concrete you’ll use masonry anchors instead of screws. On plasterboard-only walls without studs behind, the load capacity drops significantly — InstallStrips need to hit solid framing to achieve the rated weight capacity.

Yes — the panels are made from hardened PVC, which is fully waterproof and weather resistant. They won’t swell, warp, rot, or grow mould the way MDF or timber slatwall will. The L-shaped slot profile also doesn’t trap water or dust. They can be cleaned with water, and for stubborn stains, industrial cleansers or even bleach won’t damage them.

StoreWALL uses a standard L-slot profile which is compatible with most universal slatwall accessories on the market. The hooks and accessories we sell alongside the panels use StoreWALL’s CamLok locking system — an all-metal mechanism that locks accessories into the panel until you choose to move them, so nothing shifts or falls under load. Third-party accessories that don’t have CamLok will still slot in but won’t lock in place.

Yes — that’s one of the main reasons to go with StoreWALL over a fixed storage system. You can add more panels to cover additional wall space, swap accessories in and out without any tools, and reconfigure the whole layout as your needs change. A lot of customers start with one wall and come back to do the rest of the garage once they see how it works.

Currently stocked in Brite White and Weathered Grey. Both colours run all the way through the panel — there’s no coating or laminate — so if the panel gets scratched or dented you’ll see the same colour inside it rather than a different core material underneath.

The panels, hooks and accessories carry a 5-year warranty.
